James Hoggan founded the award winning public relations firm Hoggan & Associates. He has over three decades of experience in crisis and issues management for corporations, governments and public institutions such as universities and hospitals.
James is the author of three books including the Canadian best sellers Climate Cover-Up: The Crusade to Deny Global Warming and I’m Right and You’re an Idiot: The Toxic State of Public Discourse and How to Clean It Up. He is a tireless advocate for ethics and honesty in public conversations and founded the influential website DeSmog, chosen as one of Time Magazine’s Best Blogs in 2011. He is past chair of the David Suzuki Foundation and has sat on numerous national and international boards and advisory committees.
